The month is over after sleep tonight, and I can't think of another word to put on here.
Actually, that's not quite true. I wrote a word down from something I was reading recently (at work), and I'm too lazy to go downstairs and get it.
Oh well.
This weekend was a little of everything... A run, playtime with the kids (including robot-making), a great homemade dinner with wine, a little girl time, some rain, a little work... It went by super-fast, though!
I've decided not to "stress" over what next month's topic is. That can be loosely translated and/or interpreted to mean I haven't decided.
Cheers to the end of September! Welcome, fourth quarter!

Not another word!
Somehow, having a "topic for the day" blog has discouraged me from actually blogging. Let me explain.
Every once in a while, I feel like I am somewhat "legitimately" feeling like putting a piece of my life on the internet for the world to see. Even though I know, realistically, the "world" that reads my blog consists of only about 10 people, tops. But I digress.
This morning, I did most of the "morning routine" with the kids. It just so happened that Baby G needed her bottle, and Kalamazoo (one of my favorite nicknames for Kiddo) got up while I was feeding Baby G.
Kalamazoo has been sleeping without pullups, so I want to make sure to encourage him to go potty right away when he gets up. I explained to him that Mommy goes potty right away. So he tells me, "I go potty, then I get dresses."
I wasn't really up for shopping at 6:45am with a kid not wearing anything but a Jammy-Jam shirt... so I got him dressed, instead.
He also got to pick out sister's clothes. She wore cupcakes today, and was all smiles.
I don't typically get the entire morning routine - usually, that's left to the hubs. But this morning? I loved it. Even though I found that I was still in my pajamas at 7am (when I am typically leaving for work). My kids are typically happy in the morning, and on days like today, the hubs can have a few extra minutes to sleep in (which I'm pretty sure he appreciates).
As for me? I don't feel one bit guilty for getting in to work later than usual today -- especially when I've been working pretty hard this week.
Days like today, it's good to be a mom. And it's good to blog again about something other than the "topic" for the month. I should do it more often.

Something Fun...
PHENOMENAL 2 LETTER WORD
I'm sure you will enjoy this. I never knew one word in the English language that could be a noun, verb, adj, adv, prep.
UP
Read until the end ... You'll laugh.
This two-letter word in English has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that word is
'
UP .' It is listed in the dictionary as an [adv], [prep], [adj], [n] or [v].
It's easy to understand
UP
, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake
UP
?
At a meeting, why does a topic come
UP
? Why do we speak
UP
, and why are the officers
UP
for election
(if there is a tie, it is a toss UP
) and why is it
UP
to the secretary to write
UP
a report?
We call
UP
our friends, brighten
UP
a room, polish
UP
the silver, warm
UP
the leftovers and clean
UP
the kitchen. We lock
UP
the house and fix
UP
the old car.
At other times, this little word has real special meaning. People
stir UP
trouble, line
UP
for tickets, work
UP
an appetite, and think
UP
excuses.
To be dressed is one thing but to be dressed
UP
is special.
And this
UP
is confusing: A drain must be opened
UP
because
it is blocked
UP .
We open
UP
a store in the morning but we close it
UP
at night. We seem to be pretty mixed
UP
about
UP
!
To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of
UP
, look
UP
the word
UP
in the dictionary. In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes
UP
almost 1/4 of the page and can add
UP
to about thirty definitions.
If you are
UP
to it, you might try building
UP
a list of the many ways
UP
is used. It will take
UP
a lot of your time, but if you don't give
UP
, you may wind
UP
with (
UP
to) a hundred or more.
When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding
UP
. When the sun comes out, we say it is clearing
UP
. When it rains, it soaks
UP
the earth. When it does not rain for awhile, things dry
UP
.
One could go on and on, but I'll wrap it
UP
, for now . . . My time is
UP
!
Oh . . . One more thing: What is the first thing you do in the morning and the last thing you do at night?
U
P

Did that one crack you
UP
?
Don't screw
UP
.. Send this on to everyone you look
UP
in your address book . . . Or not . . . it's

to you.
Now I'll shut
