Require explanation...
Some pictures require a bit of an explanation.
Here are some candidates that don't make wordless wednesday, because of the context.

I alternatively love and hate this animal. After eating a hole in my nice coat this week, she doesn't rank very high on my list. I should have learned my lesson with Kobe. Public Service Announcement: If you have a dog, do not leave dog treats in ANY pockets. Clothing may be destroyed in a vigilant effort to remove the dog treat.
We recently cleaned out some space in the refrigerator. I haven't counted my cookie cutters - yet - but they no longer fill the large Tupperware container. It may just be time to purge.
This is not-quite a selfie. L was playing with my phone, and took this picture. Possibly the first picture she's ever taken - - but most certainly one of the few that are actually meaningful. The next 15 pictures were all of my sweater. Not quite as interesting.

Ambitious?
Results from another recent quiz....
Makes me think!
Your Most Dominant Character Trait is Ambition!
You are a true fighter who knows that getting anything done the right way absolutely needs motivation and drive. When you have a goal or set a plan for yourself, there is no stopping you. You are a strong-minded individual who can accomplish anything within a given period of time. You are very passionate when it comes to things you're excited about and this is what makes you so reliable and effective with anything you set out do.

Another Craft! Frozen Marbles
Living in North Carolina, it's pretty rare that we have an entire day (24 hours!) with temperatures that don't go above freezing. However - last week - we had just that.
Which means - it was a perfect opportunity to make "Marbles"!
Pretty simple concept.
Balloons. Add food coloring. Fill with water. Tie, and freeze (put outside). Wait 24 hours. Remove balloon. Enjoy - - until the temperatures warm up, at least!

Recipe - Stuffed Pepper Soup
I'm not always good about giving credit for things I see and follow.
Particularly when it comes to recipes posted on Facebook.
Last night, I made Stuffed Pepper Soup. I only thought it was "ok", but I brought leftovers to work today - and YUM! Some things are just better reheated the next day!
Here's the original recipe - - although I modified to accomodate weight watchers, and also what we had "on hand". I originally saw it on my friend JL's page, but don't know who shared it first!
Stuffed Pepper Soup
Serve 6 (or 3 hungry bikers)
398 cals 5.6g fat (1.9g saturated) (without cheese)
1lb LEAN ground beef
1 lg onion, diced
1 cup uncooked or 2 cups cooked rice
1 can Hunts flavored diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce (14.5oz can)
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp basil
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 box chicken stock (32oz)
2 cups water
3 bell peppers (I use 1 big green pepper then 4-5 red and 4-5 yellow BABY bell peppers)
Cheese for topping (optional)

In a large soup pot coated with cooking spray, over medium-high heat, brown the grown beef with the onions and rice. Browning the rice gives it a nice nutty flavor – do not allow it to burn!!
Meanwhile dice your peppers into small ½" pieces, set side.
Add in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, chicken stock, and water, then allow it to come to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and allow it to cook 20 minutes then add the peppers and allow it to cook another 20-30 minutes (some types of rice may need longer cooking times)
Serve with cheese on top (optional)

If I were a Dr. Seuss Character...
From another quiz...
Are you Thing 1? Or Thing 2?
We have no preference, do you?
We doubt that you do
being the thing that you are
You'd rather have fun
than take this that far
So lets have some fun!
Which is what you do best
Living life in the fast lane
Wearing thrills like a vest
Others think you're crazy
and they're slightly correct
No thing desires normalcy
What do they expect?
Just keep your hair crazy
never drop that big grin
For those who are happy
Are in for the win!
