Or rather, prescriptions...
In an uncharacteristic like 6-months, I have successfully managed to finish a bottle of advil. For most people, this may not seem like an accomplishment... However, thanks to the tooth and the baby, I have probably for the first time in my life had more advil/ibuprofen in 6 months than I had in the prior 6 years.
When I had the tooth pulled, the oral surgeon didn't even bother to give me anything by prescription. And oddly enough- I'm thankful. It wasn't soo bad (even though it's still acting up today and I may have to start on bottle #2 of advil). I'm also glad not to have anything stronger around - since chances are I wouldn't use it, anyway.
Today: I'm thankful for OTC medications.
