Spastic

I subscribe to a "blog a day" type of site, and recently there was a "Daily Prompt" that read as follows:

Pick a random word and do Google image search on it. Check out the eleventh picture it brings up. Write about whatever that image brings to mind.

So - what word did I choose?  Spastic.

I was thinking something along the lines of bizarre, random, weird, crazy, or out-of-control.  Instead, my image is this:

I must admit... I'm a little fascinated by this.  I didn't know about Spastic Diplegia (which  is - in brief - a form of cerebal palsy).  A chart and a graph are right up my ally. 

Maybe I will think twice before I call someone a "spaz" next time...
